Welcome to Belfast Junior Rugby!

We are looking forward to the 2026 Season, in what we hope will be an awesome one!

Our main goal is to be the club of choice in North West Christchurch, having great family involvement and culture within our club, and placing a strong emphasis on developing our players and coaches. We are focused on trying to provide the best opportunities and environments for all our Players, Coaches and Managers, and will continue to do all we can to ensure this each season. We have introduced a 'Shared Commitment' code of conduct for our players, parents and supporters this season, as pictured below, to continue to ensure a positive and supportive environment for everyone.

We currently cater to all Junior Grades, from year 1 through to year 8, in Rippa, Rip & Tackle formats. This season we are also working on getting both Senior (Under 18) Boys and Senior (Under 18) Girls teams out on the field too. Please find details on each grade, including ages, rules and formats on the next tab.

We have a brand new, hard-working Junior Committee this season, consisting of 7 members. We generally meet once a month and are always looking for new members. If you would be interested in joining us, and helping to shape, grow and improve our Junior Rugby Club for our tamariki, please get in touch with us - we would love to have you!
